  • Train your admins and mentors on how to navigate the system, create and grade role plays and add users and groups.
  • Provide your learners micro tutorial videos to get into the system
  • Perform a quality assurance check before your launch
Q
How long does a kick-off meeting take?
A
Normally, a kick-off meeting takes 60 minutes.
Q
How long does Administrator & Mentor training take?
A
Typically, our training sessions are one hour long and you are taken through creating, grading, and promoting programs, topics and role-plays, creating users, groups, and mentors, metrics and site settings.
Q
Can Rehearsal be used for more than role-plays?
A
Yes! Think of Rehearsal as a practice platform for all communication skills. From simple ask and answer questions, to practicing detailed presentations; uses for Rehearsal are expanding every month.
Q
What’s involved in creating a scenario?
A
Scenarios require several assets: a description, a document file (optional) related to the scenario, a video file or capture, and grading criteria. Time will be spent writing the instructions to set the stage for the scenario, along with possibly creating a script for the person presenting the scenario video to ensure precise verbiage.
Q
How long does it take to setup a scenario?
A
Setting up a scenario can happen as quickly as 3-5 minutes. Designing a good scenario will take around 20 minutes to fully scope out all aspects. Creation of a great scenario can take up to an hour.
Q
Who grades the scenario?
A
Mentors can leave written and/or video feedback, comment and/or prompt for a new response. When ready they score based on grading criteria established. Any user can be given mentor status to any group. The Administrator(s) assigns this status.
Q
Can Mentors see and grade other responses for groups they are not assigned to?
A
No, they cannot. E.g. Department Leads who are mentors for their own groups will not see or be able to grade responses for other groups. Admins can see and grade everything.
Q
Can learners see other people’s responses or coaching feedback?
A
No. Only scenarios that are promoted to the Leaderboard can be viewed by learners. Admins and mentors decide on promotion and can write a note about the scenario.
Q
How are scenarios accessed?
A
Learners have a unique username and password to log in, and see only the scenarios assigned to their groups. Learners record a response and submit. Mentors are then notified via email.
Q
How long does it take to setup a scenario?
A
That completely depends on the scenario. Practicing an elevator pitch is fast, practicing a PowerPoint presentation is longer. However, for processing, it takes about 10-15 seconds for a recorded video to be ready after you stop recording, review it and submit it.
Q
What maintenance is involved with Rehearsal?
A
We have minor releases every 4-6 weeks. As we are a SaaS-based solution, no action is required on your part. You will receive release notes.
Q
What do you recommend for initial rollout?
A
That’s a big question that varies by customer. Generally, this depends on your situation and audience e.g sales, customer service, etc.
Q
What do you recommend for ongoing engagement?
A
We suggest rolling out 2-3 new scenarios every three weeks, followed by Coaching and Leaderboard recognition. Scenarios can be a compliment to your training plans surrounding new products, events, marketing campaigns, customer policy changes, etc.
Q
What devices does Rehearsal work on?
A
Learners can use webcam-enabled computers and laptops, tablets and smart phones. Our development teams test on multiple platforms and devices.
